compressed air purification equipment and its main functions
Compressed air purification equipment generally includes an aftercooler, an oil-water separator, an air storage tank, and a dryer. The aftercooler is installed on the outlet pipe of the air compressor, and it saturates the oil mist and water vapor in the compressed air to make most of it condense into droplets and precipitate out. The oil-water separator is installed on the pipeline behind the aftercooler, and its function is to separate the moisture, oil and other impurities contained in the compressed air, so that the compressed air can be initially purified. The main function of the air storage tank is to store a certain amount of compressed air, reduce the pulsation of the air output from the air source, increase the continuity of the air flow, and further separate the moisture and oil in the compressed air. The function of the dryer is to further remove the moisture, oil, particulate impurities, etc. contained in the compressed air to dry the compressed air.
